Dr. Curtis is a character in the novel Final Destination: End of the Line. He is a doctor who works at St. Stephen's hospital. Upon hearing a few complaints about Kate's performance, Curtis called Kate over to his office so he could discuss her recent behavior. After he mentioned that Kate told Tony Forelli that he was going to be shot, and that Danny was supposed to be dead, he became angry, saying that Kate's actions were reckless and could've resulted in dozens of lawsuits. As Kate began to cry, Curtis suddenly changed his tone and told Kate how hard it is being a med student. He told her that she should take a break, but Kate protested, saying that she only needed a little bit of time off. The doctor agreed and suspended Kate for a week and advised her to get some sleep, knowing that she'll feel better once she's well-rested.
