Shirley Edelstein is a character in the novel Final Destination: Looks Could Kill. She is the mother of Shirelle Edelstein and the wife of Howard Edelstein. She is also a retired vocalist from a popular R&B/soul trio. Shirley and her husband were seen at Shirelle's funeral a few days after she was brutally killed on the set of a music video. During the time Cabernet payed her respects to Shirelle's parents, telling them how sorry she was before she looked at Shirelle's corpse and began to cry with how horrified the body looked. Shirley told Cabernet that she was grateful she payed her respects and that it was okay for her to leave afterwards, so she wouldn't upset herself anymore.
